I keep seeing things, out of the corner of my eyes. I'm not sure if I should be worried or not. Tiny black circles. They seem to crawl, and when I turn, and they're gone. Perhaps my mind is playing tricks on me, perhaps my eyes are. Perhaps they're really there, and I'm just not quick enough. Perhaps the lighting is bad, or perhaps I have simply gone mad..

The water was falling, not only from the skies. Sitting there, my legs on yours; I focused on the distant laughter, of those with no cares. Your voice was no more than a whisper, no more than a slight vibration. The winds carried it, far far away. My stomach would not calm, my thoughts would not form, my words would not come. You pierced my eyes, and the whole world stopped. The sun decided to shine, and the birds decided to chirp. People passed, and my body could not move. You held me like this, a prisoner. You spoke softly, slowly warming the air. A smile dirfted across your face, and you ran your fingers through your hair. A hopeless sigh squeeked out from deep within, and I finally broke away. As the weathers changed and the mood was lifted, I began to speak. Memories were surfacing, and my mind slowed. Taking everything in, I let my heart do the talking. I held your face to mine, and your eyes were so delicate, so fragile. They did not move, they did not hesitate, they were strong, steady. We stood, finally free of our shackles. As we moved forward, we left behind us, the gallows that kept us here and lost for so long.

Rain, rain, rain, hurtles, long distance, race walk, sprints, wins, losses, smiles, the sun, the wind, teachers, cheers, laying on the turf, warm ups, abc's, jokes, G's, beasts, beasts, beasts, competition, butterflies, nerves, twins chips, heart beats, sweaters, jackets, sweat pants, jogging, rules, laughs, positivity, strangers, friends, zablen suddenly "beef", new people, memories, ice cream, ben and the distinctive laugh, conversations, the arena, the pool, the umbrella, the tent thingy, the bleachers, huddling for warmth, the cantine (or lack there of), the sleeping bag, oliver's missing shoes, the synchronized running, huskies idiot, asshole with the microphone, finals, me dressed as jeff, sun bathing, praying with dondre, weak knees, medals, poll vault, relays, triple jump, inhuman blackburn, injuries, cute kids, pwnage, tommy being inhuman, good sportsmanship, high jump, jahno guy, high socks, the gays, rob in his short shorts, podiums, megart (or wtvr his name is) being beat by treffeinsve (wtvr his name is), spikes, doonan x 2, papa, qard trying to kill me, spankies, purple spandex, quitters, skippers, runners, pats on the back, high fives, naps, clouds, moments of silence for archuletta, knights 6, m-v? 5, cougars 4, spartans 3, huskies 2, chargers 1, team spirit, chargers; what?! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrap! reigning champs.
